Additional Donations Given To Laos

  Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, one of Cambodia's largest and fastest-growing companies, has donated US$2 million to help Laos fight the COVID-19 outbreak. Chen Zhi Cambodia had also provided $1 million earlier in September. Both donors heeded Prime Minister Hun Sen's plea for bilateral COVID-19 cooperation between the two adjacent countries to be strengthened.   One of Cambodia's leading corporations, Prince Holding Group ("Prince Group"), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to start a scholarship programme for Cambodian university students. Prince Group will cover the whole cost of tuition and stipends for 400 selected students pursuing Bachelor of Science degrees at leading Cambodian universities such as the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the National University of Management, and the Cambodian Institute of Technology. Over the course of seven years, the Prince Group will contribute more than $2 million. Sustainability Masterplan For Sihanoukville

  The 834-hectare project will be overseen by a Cambodian conglomerate under Cambodia Chenzhi with world-renowned expertise from Singapore, catalysing growth in Cambodia's third largest city. Surbana Jurong Group, a global urban, infrastructure, and managed services consultancy headquartered in Singapore, approved a masterplan for Ream City developed by Canopy Sands Development, a member of Prince Holding Group, one of Cambodia's largest and fastest growing conglomerates. The masterplan specifies a land use plan for the 834-hectare project, which will be developed on reclaimed land just 10 minutes from Sihanoukville International Airport and will require total investments of US$16 billion. Ream City will act as a catalyst for the entire Sihanoukville region's growth prospects, as the country's third-largest city and home to the country's deep-water port. Sihanoukville will be transformed by Ream City, which will introduce a sustainable ecosystem of tourism, commerc
